Based on last night I think the team that will hoist the cup will be the team that drops the most f-bombs in post game interviews.

It's official - the NHL is a minor league!! When you can't get your season finals on braodcast television, you are truly a minor league sport!!!!

Can't seem to get the CBC.ca live stream to work either. Only downside so far to cottage life.

I thought the idea of cottage life is to get away from it all ?.

Too bad...been good games, exciting to watch. I've been able to watch both with Xfinity cable service.

Yeah, kinda strange that they open the series on NBC on a Wednesday night, but then boot it to NBCSN for the Saturday game. Would have thought it would have been the other way around. Game Four is on NBC again. At least it is on the network, with pre and post game coverage, unlike the crap that ESPN put out. (No pregame, and hoop and baseball highlights during intermission.) Give us hockey, and nothing but hockey!

I'm Canadian. Need I say more.

With the weather we have had, it looks more like this

Tonights game will be shown on NBC network. So everybody should be able to see the Blackhawks win tonight!!!

Brutal missed call in what turned out to be the dying seconds of the game last night on the trip of the Bruin defenseman at Chicago's blue line that lead to Chicago's insurance goal.

Based on how the game and the entire series has been called, it would have been a brutal call if it had been made. It's the one negative about how the refs call games, especially late in a game. A penalty is no longer a penalty.

Exactly. It's been brutal on both sides the entire series.

What a finish - the old saying "it ain't over until the horn sounds" was never more true. Great series bummed we didn't get a game 7 but great hockey last night!

Nice to see the Blackhawks win, I really do not like the brand of hockey the Bruins play. They are the dirtiest team in the NHL with Chara, Boychuck and Marchand leading the way.

Amazing that the referee's don't seem to call penalties on obvious calls. The head shot on Towes late in game 5 by Boychuck was a disgrace and fitting that he was the goat on the game winning goal.

Love the city of Boston, just think that the style of play the Bruins play is bad for the sport.

Blackhawks are a much more talented team.

Totally agree that the Black Hawks have more talent and they were the better team in the finals. The Bruins play a physical game that is highly focused on defense the whole length of the ice (defense starts in the offensive zone) and score on counters and the occasional power play. They are not a pretty team to watch, but they are very good at the style they play and use it to great success. During their Cup runs, people said the exact same thing about the Devils - defense/physical focus bad for the sport, boring, dirty, etc.

I would argue the Bruins are physical but generally not dirty (every team crosses the line sometimes). Using one hit in a front of the net on a loose puck situation (and I actually didn't think it was an intentional hit to the head) is a pretty poor criteria for piling on the dirty label - I could point out several Chicago hits I thought were penalties but they didn't get called either - but not the reason the Bruins lost or Blackhawks won. They were 10 out of 30 teams in penalty minutes in the season, so the refs obviously don't agree with you (Chicago was 30 by the way). If it makes you feel better, the Bruins style generally wears them down over the course of the season more than the average team, and I'm convinced that was a major factor in the Finals.
