Which networks are picking up the 4 NCAA tourney games that are syndicated?

Re: Which networks are picking up the 4 NCAA tourney games that are syndicated?

excellant point moose97, any person desiring to watch an RSN that is outside of their home area, must subscribe to the "sports pack".

Re: Which networks are picking up the 4 NCAA tourney games that are syndicated?

so altitude 2 is not available in high definition?

Bill, I should clarify that -- it CAN be. But many times they only provide a standard-def feed if it's not one of their local pro teams, so we'll just have to see on that.

FSN-Detroit + was like that until just a couple of months ago. Only hi-def for wings/piston/tigers games. Now they have a 24/7 hi-def channel.

Re: Which networks are picking up the 4 NCAA tourney games that are syndicated?

Can we confirm that channel 682 (ALT2) has the DU v. Western Mich. game? I don't see it listed on the DirecTV channel guide or on their web site.

Anybody else having a problem with ESPNU on directv? On mine it just says to be announced all weekend.

And as far as I know, if you subscribe then drop after the F4, it's pro-rated. I think a lot of Gopher fans who did not have one of the channels did that for certain series.

It appears on the DirecTV guide now, good!

Re: Which networks are picking up the 4 NCAA tourney games that are syndicated?

My DirectTV guide this AM still was not showing any of the games. Not even the ones scheduled for ESPNU. I had to manually program my DVR to get the UMD-#26Union game.

Re: Which networks are picking up the 4 NCAA tourney games that are syndicated?

Same here, hoping that setting the DVR online works today.

Re: Which networks are picking up the 4 NCAA tourney games that are syndicated?

All the games are now listed on Directv

Re: Which networks are picking up the 4 NCAA tourney games that are syndicated?

I wish ESPN and their networks would dump their "Bottom Line" ticker. It's outlived its usefulness in today's world with everyone having instant access to info on their cell phones, ipads, laptops, etc. Not only that but in HD it strips out a huge chunk of the picture and I find it especially distracting for hockey...which is why it's nice to see the "uncut" picture that the Altitude HD feed has of the Michigan-UNO game.

BTW the Denver game Saturday on Altitude2 IS in HD also :)

Re: Which networks are picking up the 4 NCAA tourney games that are syndicated?

I am showing the DU/WMU game on Dish channel 444.
