Which 3 D-I teams advance to the quarters from Thursday's opening round?

It's funny how the Quinniapiac vs tOSU game last year is given a bit of revisionist history when in reality Quinnipiac was overmatched in that game. Big time puck possesion advantage for tOSU. Large shot total disparity 77-22 over 3 periods and 2 OTs...In fact tOSU outshot Quinnpiac 20-2 in the 2 OT periods. Q goalie keeped them in that game plain and simple.

And yet Q rang the pipe halfway through the first OT. Yes, it would have been a major upset, but they were literally an inch away from pulling it off.

Quinny was 18-2 (losses were to Yale and Providence) before the Holiday break and 11-7 after the break including 2-4-0 to finish the season. I just do not have a lot of faith (unless it is for Clarkson of course) of a team that has lost 4 of its last 6 games going into the NC$$ Tourney. That is why I picked Penn State.

I usually don't predict either. At least as long as the Buckeyes are still alive. And yeah, it does annoy my friends.

Anyhow, count me in as part of the (at least) 26 of us.

And hey. Suppose we did start out with just 17 Disciples. With all of us sticking with it, doesn't it stand to reason that we'll slowly but surely gain more followers? (winking emoticon here)
