What's new with USCHO since I last posted?

Okay, need a Cliff's Notes version as it's been a few years since I've posted anything here:

-site still cool/hasn't gone corporate or lame or censored?
-people still hate the Gophers?
-Off Topic site still worthwhile?
-any recent developments, trends, or inside terms I need to be aware of?

Nothing corporate. Can't say **** or *** or Meekrob. As for lame, well, you be the judge.
Clarkson still sucks.
I still show up off-topic, although there are a lot more association threads.
I'm sure you'll figure out the inside terms after a while. ;)

Ben Hankinson now has a son skating bantam B1. In couple years he could be a Hornet player.

USCHO has gotten tame. Or lame. Many of the old posters are gone, hardly any good rants anymore.

2) Only B1? C'mon, Ben! Breed better than that.
3) Very sorry to hear that. We had some epic rants on here in the old days. Epic.

And the older Hankinson kid is a really nice kid from all I hear.

Harvard has not joined Hockey East, nor has {PROVICED been kikced out.

Freddy Meyer is still a hack.

If you think things are derpy now, wait until March. I nervously await the day USCHO has to pull a GPL and close the board to new members during the postseason.

Understood. I guess I'm the "oldie newbie". H*ll, I remember fondly the days of Pride on Ice as my main hockey website experience. Some great rants on that one, too!

It's funny what getting married and having a kid does for one's web surfing and sports consumption. I've had to prioritize I suppose but now she's finally on board and after I bought tickets for the West Regional to take her to her first college hockey games USCHO came to mind again to check the PWR and bang! Here I am again. It's like riding a bike ... and old rusty one with flat tires, but a bike nonetheless.

St. Lawerence is still the fourth best hockey program in St. Lawrence County behind Clarkson, Postdam and SUNY Canton. :D
