Re: What the Fark 2: That Was... Interesting.

Did ever see the article where an artist in California made a complete highway sign, matching the CA rules and regs for road signs, rented a work truck, and hung it over the I-5(?) freeway because he thought an exit was badly marked in the first place, causing a lot of traffic to miss an exit?

This reminds me of that situation, only the goals are very different.

Yep, that was here on the Forum this summer.

No one hates the nonsense that is a TSA line at an airport more than me. Probably no one has whined about it, while in line, more than me.

On the other hand, when you read a story like this , you have to ask what are these idiots thinking? Did they just wake up from a 30 year nap? Seriously?

I'd be willing to bet it's often people who think they are above the law. Gun nuts with CPLs who think they can conceal-carry wherever they want, "Do as I say, not as a I do" anti-gun politicians like Donne Trotter, etc.

Facebook is down. If Facebook disappeared with no warning, would the panic be greater or lesser than a toilet paper shortage?

Working for me just fine. All the unnecessary baby pictures, sanctimonious memes, unhinged political screeds, and diabetes-inducing clickbait news stories stolen from Reddit you can eat!

Sounds like good entertainment in St. Paul this Sunday. BlackLivesMatter plans to protest at the TC Marathon, and block the finish line to keep runners from finishing. The group's leader says he expects the runners to just turn around and join the protest - I think not.
