Western Region Pick'em Commish Retires

Re: Western Region Pick'em Commish Retires

Charlie,

Great response to a fairly insensitive post. Hope all goes well for you.

Bill

Oh get over yourself. Insensitive my arse. Unwind your panties from your crack, and come back and play when the sand is wiped from your vag.

It sucks that he has cancer, it really, really does. And all of here hope like hell he beats it and comes back healthier than ever.

But lighten up Frances.....XYZ was poking fun at the NCAA, not at your friend.

Well, if you knew what you were talking about you'd know that when I was a senior in college I had a cancerous "growth" removed. I believe they called it...melanoma?

Therefore, you can take your claim of insensitivity and stick it. My post had nothing to do with Charlie (which to all but the dullest is hideously obvious). I, like everyone else here, wishes him nothing but the very best in all facets of life and am elated to hear he is doing well.

I appreciate your input, however.

How was I acting dumb though??? All I said was that we really need a volunteer for the EcacWest Pick'em.....that's all I said....

I'm sure your heart was in the right place, but the "WESTERN REGION" in this case is NOT the ECAC West, maybe this will give you a hint.:o ;)

If you need more of a hint, maybe this will help. :)

Of course, a picture (or a map) is worth a thousand words.

For the record, the demise of the commissioner of ECAC-West pick 'em, the original D-III pick 'em game, has been greatly exaggerated. :p (See sig., below.)

I never took it as insensitive, didn't bother me at all. I would still take the NCAA:D :D

I hit the hint links expecting to find "Webb's MAP"....;)
That illustration may have helped in your attempt to help Pioneers#1 :D

Re: Western Region Pick'em Commish Retires

Any takers? It is quite a commitment; I wish I had the time on a consistent basis. Season is just around the corner:eek:

Re: Western Region Pick'em Commish Retires

You might as well do it. You post about every eight seconds on here.

LOL, you are probably not far off. Other than the month of November:( (and possibly early December), I don't see a problem, but it wouldn't be fair to the participants to miss the start of the season.

I'd do it myself if the weekly columns didn't chew up an ample amount of time as it were. I can at least cut myself some slack as I was the originator of this specific pickem'. :)

I just hope that whoever takes it over has enough sense to incorporate the "XYZ Birthday Special" every 2/12. Becker @ Wentworth looks like the early frontrunner here.
