NMU then takes their 2nd penalty of the night. Both of the 2:00 variety. Western has not taken a penalty.

Almost immediately (:07 later), Western gets called for another penalty and NMU will have a full 2:00 5 on 3.

Slater got a game DQ along with his 5:00. He also gets a 5:00(and another DQ) for facemasking.
Fernandez got a 5:00 for facemasking and a DQ.

Gron gets his own rebound after getting a chance when 2 Bronco defenders end up on the ice on the PK and NMU leads 3-1 and continues their powerplay with about 1:00 left to play in the 1st.
