Started the cocktail hour early with the tUMD game. Guess I better keep it going. :)

Penalty to Michigan for hooking. So far, it looks like the calls have been rather obvious in this game.

I kinda enjoy having the Gus Johnson of college hockey announcing this game. Gets so excited for plays that basically nothing. Makes for a lot more enjoyable than the other game.

The WCHA is off to a good start in the tournament with Duluth's 2-0 win versus Union and UNO's strong first period against Michigan. I don't think CC will be able to beat BC, but two out of three is a good start to the NCAA tourney for the WCHA.

I'm a little disappointed in the UNO fans. How far is it to St. Louis, anyways? Still cheering for them, though. Pains me to cheer for anything Nebraska... but they're WCHA, and they're not Big Ten. Good enough.

I really wanted to go (for a change, I have the time) but it's almost 900 miles from Colorado. And for some stupid reason, flights to STL are $550+ this weekend. I could've gone to Honolulu for cheaper.

Biggest disappointment is the city of St. Louis though. $39 for three quality hockey games? Clearly *not* a hockey town.

Yah, me too. Left work early, stopped for booze on way home mixed drink immediately after turning on the game.

Nice start for the WCHA on day 1. A win in the bank and 0 GA so far.

ESPN3 on Xbox Live is working like a charm. No buffering or anything and clear picture.

According to Google maps from Omaha to St. Louis is about a 7-7.5 hour drive.

Any way to get ESPN3 without being a subscriber to one of their partners? I have Time Warner, but just for internet, so can't get it. :( And the workaround (signing up for a free ATT email) doesn't seem to work anymore.
