Wisconsin with the clear edge in play early, with several great chances that wouldn't go in. But Clarkson was able to stem the tide and played Bucky pretty even toward the end of the period.

Hardly anyone in the stands, but no doubt the mid-afternoon start on a Friday doesn't help.

Clarkson women don't draw squat. 500 is a YUUUHGEE crowd. A few of us CCT alums can't figure out why. This team and the volleyball team (D-III) are the only national contenders on campus.

drawing 1100 & 1300 fans for the first weekend by the team that has won 4 of the last 5 national championships isn't exactly a great showing either

Wisconsin-Clarkson is tied 2-2 in the third.
Merrimack leads Maine 2-0 after 1
Ohio State leads Bemidji 2-0 after 1

Some sloppy play in the 3rd, but again the Badgers had the edge in play and the better chances. Shots were 39-22 at the end of regulation.

Union with its second consecutive victory, a 2-0 win over RIT. Glad to see the Dutchwomen get some reward for all the adversity they've been through.
