Brittain left a rebound right in front, and Bemidji puts it back in the net. I think there was a penalty coming up as well...

EDIT: no penalty

Double Edit: yes, there was a penalty. Bemidji State on the powerplay, and they hit the crossbar.

Bemidji had a couple of great chances to take a two goal lead but Brittain makes a couple of great saves.

One of the Shore's came in on a breakaway shorthanded, but no dice.

Denver kills the penalty, but not before Bemidji had a few great chances.

1:45 left in the 1st.

Denver may be putting into play their plan to play as few periods as possible in a weekend. Last weekend they won both games playing just a bit more than 2 periods.

4x3 DU powerplay for :33, then :49 of 5x3, then :38 of 5x4...

EDIT: nevermind...i guess they didn't call it. tough break for DU
