No. 1 seed Denver (26-7-4) continues to host No. 10 seed Michigan Tech (5-29-1) in the first round of the WCHA Playoffs this evening. DU needs just one more win to punch their ticket to the Final Five after winning 2-1 last night. Puck drop is set for 7:07 p.m. on Saturday in the best two-of-three series. Puck drop for Sunday's game, if necessary, is set for 7:07 p.m. Jay Stickney and Sandy Clough will have the call on FM 104.3 the FAN and all games will be webcast on Pioneer Vision at www.DenverPioneers.com. Live stats are available at www.DenverPioneers.com.

OK, I have to say I am relieved to move to another thread as the "Fore" thread was a real bummer!! I'm almost feeling sad after reading all of that. I haven't had the chance to say yet how much fun I find the Huskie's posters. Last night was hilarious and I remember thinking the same thing last year. Funny, clever, self-effacing humor, not to mention knowledgeable hockey fans who appreciate the sport we love so much. I admire your dedication to your team, you are certainly not fair weather fans!! With that said, let's hope for a good game tonight with no injuries!!! Go DU!!!

Thanks Dmann, I appreciate that. It's too bad sometimes when us posters (me included) get to the point of flinging poo at each other on a message board. Hopefully tonight is another well fought game and maybe tech can force a third game.... Darn Edina scores 26 seconds into the mshsl AA championship game!
