CC is playing well, but MN is mishandling pucks and missing passes when they aren't even pressured. That isn't because of the opponent. They are standing around watching at times, instead of racing for pucks. They are getting worse and worse as the game goes on, and now have to outscore a team with an on fire goalie by at least 2 in 19 minutes. Not a good showing.

Interesting comment. I was told that all of those things were because of the opponent by Gopher fans.

They were playing much better last week all game though, just waited to score. Tonight, they look like it is the first time they played together. When that happens, it isn't easy to just turn on a switch. Starting on PK makes it even harder, because you can't come out of the locker room with the goal of winning the first shift to change the momentum. CC scores on that PP and it's game over...

I don't even care so much about this game. It's the fact that they've been doing this week in and week out and if they continue, they will not be winning their last game--no way, no how.

If brown, mercy hurst, Ohio state, Boston univeristy, and Sconi wins
Minnesota, North Dakota, Denver, Sconi, and minnesota state makes it - Jan stays home

Yeah, but you come out and say we're gonna kill that penalty and then we take over.

Split power plays don't seem to work too often.


I agree though that they don't look good and that it isn't just that no pucks are going in. Very sloppy in the neutral zone and their own zone.

Yes, you should be concerned. Can't get away with this starting next week.


Weird team and I've watched them a lot this year. Tons of talent. Very strong goalie, upperclassmen, better defense than many recent Gopher teams.

Too hot and cold though.

I really thought they would put it all together after the holidays and steamroll.

Yeah, that's what is so frustrating about this group. They have everything going for them, but they seem intent on wasting it.
