That was a spectacular choke job by the Gophers. The Friday night funk seemed to have solved but it reared it ugly head in the end. Patterson is a mess.

Wow. I would have taken Patterson and three goals versus just about anyone. Seemed like he had been pretty solid all year for you guys, even when the skaters were having issues. I guess its your Friday thing....

If NCHA tourneys are held in Omaha, I think they will be well attended. No pro sports to compete with, big NCAA event. Local will go and so will some fans of teams involved. Look at CWS.

What sums it up is MN had three guys near the net against one UND player for what I think was the 4th UND goal - puck came out front, and no MN player thought to tie up the guy's stick. :rolleyes:

The second half of that game was the worst defense MN has played since Friday night in Denver.

UND 24-12-3 vs. UMN 26-13-1 Last time I checked hockey games are "60" minutes long and I am not sure how that is an embarrassment, Hockey teams lose games, it happens. I just think it's funny that some suggested that UMN and UMD were going to skate for the Final Five championship back in January and February. Some said hey lets let the games play first.
