Eli Zuck hasn't been in the lineup. No word yet on whether is ready or not. He is a big penalty killer for us. The rest of the team was beat up pretty good last weekend against UNO so it could be interesting to see the lineup but my guess is it's only Zuck for now. Hopefully he will be back.

Thanks CCFC, et al. As far as this thread, I think you could also look to your big Sister to the north for putting their grubby mitts all over it. They are, more often than not, why we can't have nice things around here! :)

Also d-man Frankie Simonelli is hurting. Arm, shoulder, something, I'm not sure, but it looks like he will tough it out and probably go. Injuries are our middle name this year. Not counting whoever slips on the ice leaving the hotel in the morning. :rolleyes:

All signs point to Zuck returning Thursday right now. Could change, but as of now, he's in.

He's not underestimating the Moooos. But should we get past them I wouldn't be surprised if Almington's usually unerring judgement proves correct once again. WI last games against the possible teams it can face on the road to to the final were all wins. Any other team in the tournament can say that?

I'll save you some time, the answer is no. :p

Well, after Mankato knocks Sconnie out, then SCSU's record against remaining teams is 8-3-1 with no losses in the most recent meetings. :p

I think you are missing the point, but I don't blame Jan for not wanting to see us on Friday. I admit that with the way she got man-handled in our last game, we should probably be brought up on charges.

Yes, TEO, the point is that Wisko is looking for any silver lining to give him a reason to believe that Becky has a chance to win the tournament and avoid missing the NCAA tournament yet again.

I never thought I'd say this, but it's not going to be easy to take Taylor Herndon out of the lineup with the way he has played.

I completely agree. It wouldn't surprise me if Zuck replaced Gaede instead. Herndon continues to get better and while I though Gaede was pretty good Sunday night, he has been pretty much a non factor the entire year.
