That could also be the reason for lack of scoring last season. Playing without any forwards on the ice really cuts down on the offensive chances. Most teams endorse the line combination of 3 forwards, 2 d-men and a goalie as the most effective choice. But hey, they say everything starts with great defense so who am I to argue.

I was busy supporting WCHA hockey (and some other teams) with my financial contributions while simultaneously feeding my jersey addiction, so there was a lag on the ironic / overly obvious humor this week. But it was sooo worth it... I'm ready for the new season now - Drop the Puck!

A2. I have great respect for the guy who was one save away from really putting the money wrench in Tech's season last year. He stood on his head for six straight periods in one night. He's pretty much the reason Tech now has a new longest game ever in their record books. Besides how can you not cheer for UAH? I cheer loudest for Tech, but I'll support most anyone under the right circumstances. Well, except UND... and Denver... and BU... and BC... and Notre Dame... and Michigan... and Wisconsin...

Yeah, but those things just don't exist to the best of my knowledge. We don't have four GUERRIERO 35 jerseys in the locker room or hockey office.

Bueller? Any sightings of an updated FSU roster? Curious if anyone unexpected left, how many freshmen, what programs they came from etc.

Heck, we're having trouble getting non-player-specific replica jerseys into the marketplace!

Sorry no newsletter, but if you follow Johnson's Jerseys on Facebook that is where I post the new arrivals. The collection is currently really lacking Wildcats. UP teams - we need to share the jersey love around a bit more... free trade of jerseys for all.
