It's exciting to see three WCHA teams going into the homestretch in pretty good PWR position. Three teams that have some serious potential to make some noise in the postseason.

Watching games last night I was struck by a few things. Man that Sheet in Colorado Springs is HUGE.You could get lost skating around in it.
The commentators pointed out that one change DU made this year was upping the video coaching each player gets. It makes a difference for them.

Second, Bemidji is real good and they can fly!.

Three, Ferris could end up near the bottom if they are not careful.

four, I think the video of every team froze about 8:30 pm eastern time last night. Ours was out for about 30 minutes. I wonder why this was.?

I guess that's five not four.

I hate that caring about PWR has me actually stopping on a game between DU and CC to see how its going. Of course the wrong team won, so ignoring it like usual would have been a better choice. Anyway, while watching parts of that game I was struck by how deep, sharp the corners looked. I think that made the ice look bigger.

There will be a good MTU group there as well. Looking forward to for sure. It should be a great series!
Tech always brings a pretty good group. Get your tickets in advance; don't count on buying them at the door. Tonight was just short of a sellout for Anchorage.

It was about 50 tickets over a sellout. A freaking sellout for UAA. Tech series could be epic.

It's the misfits student road trip and it's my group of alums annual road trip. We can't wait. It'll definitely be worth the mind numbing drive across Wisconsin :D

I'm going to guess, that apart from UAA, attendance around the league is up significantly.
I really wish WCHA tv was better. I can barely see the puck.

Also Robertson said that they were close to a TV deal for a game of the week with a major content provider. Let's hope so.

The league needs to take advantage of the success it's having. Capitalize now so that the league makes some money.

BG is averaging over 800 more per game than last year. The atmosphere has been the best that I've seen in well over a decade!

UAF's is down a little bit from last year but considering our goofy home schedule plus the NCAA sanctions I'm surprised it's not worse.

Our last home games of the season are this weekend against Mankato. After that it's off for a week then road trips to Huntsville and Anchorage. Our highest attendance was against Penn State in October and we had home series over Thanksgiving and Christmas breaks (including UAA which is normally our biggest draw) when people (and students) are out of town or otherwise occupied.

UAH has been level from last season at about 2,000 per game. We have four more home games to bump that up a little. The four-game home win streak and having games with playoff implications should help. Our last home series (vs. Northern Michigan) drew 3,423 (most of the season and second most in the last two years) and 2,010.

Re: WCHA 2014-15: Semi-colons make things seem important

Michigan Tech is up about 550 per game including a couple sellouts.

Re: WCHA 2014-15: Semi-colons make things seem important

Minnesota State up a little over 400 a game. That number will go up with two more possible sell outs against MTU.
