He traded a 500 seat rink for the Big House?

Hunwick — the younger brother of Matt Hunwick, a defenseman with the Colorado Avalanche and a former Michigan captain — still can’t believe it himself. He had no Division I scholarship offers out of high school and planned to join the startup hockey program at Division III Adrian College in Adrian, Mich., until Berenson offered him a chance to walk on.

“Unless Michigan called, I was on my way,” said Hunwick, a senior who will return next year for his final season of eligibility. “I was already enrolled in school. I was already scoring Adrian hockey T-shirts, stuff like that.”
:D:D:D

Hunwick played great, but I'm pulling for UMD tonight!

The Stouthockey.com crew has a great view from the lower bowl :-)

He's wanted to go to Yost for a while. He had his shot this year had he put his butt in a car and drive to the Elmira-Adrian QF game.

Ok prez i give whats the connection there?? you seem to have 1 just about everywhere ;-))

I've liked them ever since watching college hockey USA on fox sports way back when. Anyone else remember that show? Really miss it. That was back in the mid 90's. Woke up every Sunday morning to watch that. Always wanted to make a trip to Yost.
