In a side note, Kessel seems to have a little more jump tonight. Was able to skate backwards with a charging UVM player (#11) who had the puck. Apparently, the UVM player was so shocked, he fell down on the play.

Wait he can skate backward... I may have been wrong in calling him Brian Yandle Jr....

End of 1. 1-0 UNH. SOG in favor of UVM 14-4. That really really surprises me. Would have thought it'd be the other way around, but unfortunately only the scoreboard counts.

One shot, one goal tonight... then they relaxed and let UVM take it to them the remainder of the period... DiG showing up big so far!

Have you seen Kessel play in person this season? He has been fighting a right leg injury all season.

Nice to see the boys up by 1. Couldn't check it on my blackberry on way back from Reagan, as i left it in Minneapolis 3 hours ago. What a great start to the weekend!!

I've seen him on TV plenty pinching the point and allowing an odd man rush the opposite way... If he is fighting an injury he should be playing more conservatively....

I am sure hell tell you, but UNH09s not new to DC, been there a couple years (and don't tell him, but he's missed back in Durham...)

BU NU looks like it may turn high scoring. Very curious to watch the Mack Maine series...

When you play a way and make a career out of it, its gotta be tough to change. I have seen him pinching less, but it probably is so much instinct for him now...

Would you rather have his 5 goals and 21 assists or have him play conservatively?

Keenan just awful... let a questionable boarding go against UVM, then a trip on Sislo on the doorstep, then calls a ticky tacky on Desimone.
