Versus to air feature on Travis Roy tonight

Tonight at 7:00 p.m. ET, Versus will air a feature on the 15-year anniversary of Travis Roy’s 11-second Boston University career and the 15 years since.

This feature will include never-before-seen footage of that night (October 20, 1995, North Dakota at BU) and will have interviews from Roy and his family, BU head coach Jack Parker and former teammate and current New York Rangers captain Chris Drury.

The feature will be shown during the Hockey Central pregame show prior to the 7:30 p.m. game with the Boston Bruins visiting the Washington Capitals.

Hard to believe it has been 15 years.

One of the worst days in Boston sports history, and the most inspiring person ever to play at BU. Versus did an excellent job with that piece. I'm sure they will post it to their website, so it would be well worth watching if you missed it.
