The post wasn't trying to take away from their win. They are an Eau Claire fan, and just thought that SNC was a better team than the others at Placid, or that it was harder to win that game than in Placid. I can't say I disagree with the post all that much. They did apologize in advance.

well it would have been ok if they had lost Saturday too then because they already beat SNC and thats all you need to do to win it all. They are very much taking away from the accomplishments of UWEC from winning a very close game and the National Championship by marginalizing a very good and well played game where they had to come from 2 points behind to win it.

Not at all marginalizing what was done. The Blugolds seemed to me and the people I was watching the game with in complete control of the momentum even when down two. The game never had that feeling of the Blugolds where going to break. The St. Norbert game did this year have that feeling and last year it was the Blugolds who were closest to anyone taking the Green Knights down. Once again IMO the Blugolds and Knights should have met in NY. Quite frankly it's probably better for the Blugolds that didn't happen or maybe there would have been a three-pete celebration going on instead of a new crowning. In any case what do I know, I'm from the west and my knowledge of the game is limited.

Still pumped the Blugolds did it! I do have to say what a class act of fans Oswego have. They reminded me of the St Norbert fans in a good way. Very knowledgable and class acts. Both teams have a lot to be proud of and celebrate.

Sure it is... (I'm not "trolling" and looking for bites; I'm here to add a hockey-opinion regarding a team I've actually seen play.)
Again, Eau Claire was the class of the FF this year, IMO, and I think the best team won.

what a terrific national championship game.it had everything you could ask for .all the teams were great and the best team won the tournament--congratulations and especially to the folks i talked with who drive all the way from wisconsin .it certainly was worth the drive.

That is your opinion, and the original post did say some may take this the wrong way. You are doing just that.
They are great fans. I was in Superior cheering them on do down Middlebury in 2007. After they downed my Knights the day before of course

For the first two periods of the NCAA stream of the Norwich - Oswego game every time I tried to go full screen, all I could see was an ad for Buick, when I tried to go back to a reduced screen, I had to watch a 15 second commercial for Buick. Not a fan
