Basically.... does not make for pretty hockey. But, that is not the UVM recipe for success. Now, UNH on the other hand..... needs.... more....room....to... operate.

Big save by Foster on Stalberg. Really nice as he made the initial save and then covered the rebound. Very strong.

9:30 left... and UNH is now back at full strength...

11 minutes into the 2nd period and UNH has one shot on goal. This can't happen if UNH wants to win. COME ON, GUYS!!! WAKE UP!!!!!

I would rather skate head-to-head with UNH...but our scorers just aren't scoring, plus we are missing 2 of our best (Stacey and Milo) due to injury and suspension. Not sure where Irwin has been...he hasn't had the space to use his lethal shot.

JasonA - don't know who won the D1 game. Had to leave when it was still 0-0 (think wife). We have a lot of friends onthe Bedford team and friends on Bow. If you hear who won the D1 game let me know. My son's team, Central, got knocked out early.

Ohhhh.. Madore with his biggest stop of the game.... DeSimone is stoned by Madore off the 2x1 rush. Game is opening up a bit.

VF, don't play the game you can't win. UVM is playing it smart tonight. If they do this, they have a fighter's chance to win. If they don't, they will be golfing.

4:34 to go in the 2nd and now UNH's Mike Borisenok will go to the box for hooking. UVM back to the PP. Ugghhh... come on, UNH... not smart play.

Boy, sure would not have thought this game would be scoreless entering the 3rd, but that is just what we have. Very tight game... very little flow. This has to delight Kevin Sneddon and UVM. They are very much alive in this one.

Shots on Goal: Vermont 18 (7 in the 2nd) and UNH 10 (3 in the 2nd). 10 shots through 2 periods? Come on... that is not UNH hockey. Dick Umile should be peeling paint in that locker room.
