Jack Watson deserves the medal of honor for this one tonight! Try as we might, he would not allow us to give this one away.

Don’t understand why UVM doesn’t pull goalie sooner to go 6 x 3. Pros outweigh cons. Sustained pressure for nearly two minutes and can keep doing it? I’ll take those odds.

He had 25 saves in the third period, many from close range. Also, UVM hit the post twice in the last few minutes.
One observation from last night. I have been watching RPI hockey for almost 50 years and have never seen a call of slew-footing. I had to ask Tony/Troy what exactly it was and he said it could be dangerous. A lot different from their original call of interference.
BTW, the puck never left the RPI zone during the entire 2-man advantage and only twice during all the PP time. Their discipline during all that PK time was just outstanding. They were never caught out of position at any time.
The week off couldn’t come at a better time…

I knew that I once before asked what slew footing is. See https://fanforum.uscho.com/forum/co...gill-rpi-sunday-10-2-16?p=2787915#post2787915 and the follow-ups. I thought it was a bit more recent.
