BC goal! Joe Whitney into a wide open net; his 3rd goal of the season. Assist goes to cross.
Cross puts a low slapper on Madore from the right point, the rebound kicked out to Madore's left but went right onto Joe Whitney's stick who tapped it back home.

Vermont is outshooting BC 19-10; and is doing a good job of bottling BC up in its own end. Madore is just a little off - but that last goal was not much he could do.

true. but there was a neutral zone turnover and BC had a 2 on 1 with a third guy trailing the play and vermont's lone d-man got caught turned around to make matters worse. If Madore commits to the shot, Whitney threads a pass across - and who knows what happens. But yes, he was slow to react on the shot.
BC just had another odd man rush. the UVM d-men arent playing too smart.

penalty killed. UVM is now 1 for 5 on the powerplay. Not much pressure on that go around for the catamounts. The BC defense is doing a great job of standing up the vermont skaters at the blueline and not letting them gain easy access to the zone.
On the other end, the Vermont d-men are having difficulty keeping up with the speedy BC forwards

A catamount player had dropped his stick and went into the corner to retrieve it and that opened up room for Cross to skate in and get the puck on net.
BC now 2 for 2 on the PP.

I'm a big madore fan, he is really on an island right now. His team is just not skating hard enough right now in front of him.
In the first they held their lanes and got in the way and really disrupted BC, but in the second BC has just been going right around them and reseting the play as they please.
