not really sure. apparently mackenzie tried to jam the puck home shortside, muse held the post according to the BC announcers and the refs blew the whistle to signal a faceoff.. seemed like a harmless play until the goal light went on.
refs reviewed the play for a real long time, and probably determined it was inconclusive to overturn the call. i'm not sure if the puck ever even went in the net (let alone pre or post whistle)
the BC goal judges are known to be terrible (like not show up, be late, miss goals)

Whitney scores his second goal of the game/season/career.
A very soft goal by madore. BC had numbers in the offensive zone, Madore got caught cheating thinking Whitney was going to feed the pass across and didnt commit to the shot. Whitney held held held and then put the puck between Madore's legs before he could get down. Assists to Dumoulin and Hayes.
