USCHO, your board is being taken over by spammers

Not including this thread, only 12 of the top 50 threads are real, and the rest are spam. This is awful.

Seems this has been going on for a couple weeks? Appears USCHO doesn't care much for monitoring and activating some countermeasures against it. H E double hockey sticks I got banned three times in the past two weeks, each time for a day, and I have no clue as to what I did to get banned.
 
In defense of the admins, I don't see where this site generates anywhere near the revenue it would take to buy the weapons-grade software it would take to deflect these carpet bombing attacks. Also have to wonder if these attacks aren't specifically targeted.

I think we'd all just prefer they react and remove the posts and/or poster(s) that are spamming up the boards.
 
I'd be happy to just help out as an "admin." I check the site at least once a day (during the season). I already do that for another message board. It doesn't take much to hit "delete." :)
 
I'm not a chat site guy, but don't some require that you make a certain number of replies to existing threads before earning the ability to start your own? That would certainly stem the flow.
