USCHO Meet-and-Greet in Lake Placid?

Re: USCHO Meet-and-Greet in Lake Placid?

Looks like James Cameron dropped the ball maybe?;) nobody seems to want to call a place or a time, but maybe that's not practical anyway. So.... here's an idea: Name tags? I know it sounds dorky or nerdy or too much like a work related convention kind of a thing, but it might work well! We could then bump into each other anytime all weekend, and meet. It might be interesting just to see what kind of custom tag we individually come up with.:)

Personally I intend to walk around LP all weekend sporting "peddler" printed in large fluorescent magic marker across my forehead. On second thought........maybe I'll write it on my wife's forehead, and see how people treat her, before introducing myself :D

I think I'd choose to ignore both of you.

Maybe I'll walk around LP wearing my academic regalia. :)

Nah, I think I'll show up as a gray haired absent minded professor :D

I figured that I'd take a beating for the suggestion, but this is cool, let's have some fun with it!:D

The pipe, and elbow-patch tweed look? Or the cap and gown thing?

You're both nuts, I'll just ignore you and find the loud/fun section as I will be wearing my jersey and bringing my towel to wave for goals - they may not know who I am, but they will know I am a fan!:D

Re: USCHO Meet-and-Greet in Lake Placid?

have been informed me and a few of my friends will be staying at the "Lake Placid Summit Hotel‎." Anyone else going to be in the vicinity?

I do not know Lake Placid at all; as far as where everything is, but I'm sure I will see some of you around. I'll more then likely be walking around between games on Friday anyway but will of course be up for most anything afterward. I will have to see what the rest of my group would like to do as well. Regardless, we will be in section 8, row A - I personally forgot my exact seat number - but that is where you will find me during the game, pending I move over to the Oswego "section" but I think we will be fine where we are.

The more fans, the better the atmosphere...when I was in Wisconsin, we made sure to bring the Oswego "cheers." It will be fun...I have met several Plattbusrgh fans from the days at Romney and the Campus Center...just don't judge me as you stare down at row A and see some excitement! :p
