Something is messed up with this site. I was FINALLY able to change my team to the proper players, but now I can't even get them to the active roster for tonight.

It isn't that. What's happening is that one of my place-holders is now persistently in my starters queue. When I try to replace with a bench player, it takes the bench player's spot, but stays at the starter's spot and completely gets rid of my bench player.

Ummm, I was just looking at the rosters for this league, and according to what I see, Rocco Grimaldi and Jordan George are on 2 teams. Grimaldi is owned by UNHSince1969 and pgrass01, and George is owned by pgrass01 and SteveF. I don't know how a player could be on both teams but, it looks like it happened. According to my records, Grimaldi was drafted by UNHSince1969 and George was drafted by SteveF. Since this looks to be a mistake, the 2 players that are missing from pgrass's roster (Gensler and Haula) should not be picked up by anyone else, since he will need to add those 2 and dump the duplicates.

Wow, weird. Somehow my transactions in another league "WildBillsHockey" somehow translated (or mixed) to this one, as I have both players in my other league. And my transactions don't make sense at all. No way would have dropped Gensler with a Bentley game on Tuesday. 6 points I didn't get.

Playoffs:
Playoffs will be available via the League Home page and will only be visible to members of the league. Leagues must have at least eight teams in order for playoffs to operate. At noon the day the playoffs commence, teams will be seeded by total points. Playoffs operate on a weekly cycle, from noon to noon, but the final round encompasses two weeks to account for the one week waiting period before the Frozen Four. The top point earner in each head-to-head period will advance, and the winner will inherit the higher seed. There are three playoff rounds. Otherwise all game rules apply - individual leagues are encouraged to devise their own rules for disbursing players from eliminated teams, etc.

1. Unlimited moves between your Bench and Free Agents are allowed until noontime, Monday, 3/18, which is the start of the First Round. No further free agent moves are allowed until the second round.

We talked about doing a keeper league last fall, during drafting season, and decided we needed more time to plan it. So I'm going to bring it up again to see if anyone is interested. I think we cap it at 8 people, only 1 league, and only people that have played for a few years, and actually pay attention (Me, Shirtless Guy, FiveHole, etc.)
My plan would be to draft sometime shortly after the Frozen 4, with enough time to allow for that rush of early leavers to sign with pro teams. Only future sophomores, Juniors and Seniors would be elligable for drafting, and we would only draft 18 out of the standard 24 roster spots, with the requirement of 6 each of sophs, juniors and seniors. If someone you drafted leaves early, after the draft, too bad, that is the risk you take with high end players that may leave early. When the season is about to start we will have a 6 round rookie draft, then start the season. Once the season starts, you can make any roster moves you normally would be able to, but remember, you will only be able to draft 6 rookies the next year, so you may have to fill out your roster with lower-end players if you pile of on seniors. Trades would be encouraged, so if someone wants to trade promising freshmen for seniors to try to make a run, go for it.
