USA College Select, U-18 Rosters Announced

I am wondering how Adrianna Milani is on the USA roster. She was born in Canada and plays in Canada. Has she moved? Dual citizenship?

I think it is interesting to see what programs are producing the players for the U-18 roster. Not to long ago it was the AAA programs in Chicago, Detroit and SSM with Minnesota HS providing a large number of the players. I am assuming this list was selected from the USA development camps this year.

I was also wondering if it's getting to the point where participation numbers might drive the development of a women's junior league. Hopefully if it does it's not just a money grab.

Thanks for the humor Timothy, I needed it. How did the fishing trip go?

We were locked into the muskies (as locked into them as you can be considering they are rare) Sunday - Tuesday, caught a 36, 45, 46.5, lost 2 at the boat and had numerous eats on topwater that got no hooks into the fish and caught numerous pike to 33". Wednesday a NW wind 10-15 started blowing and we didn't see a musky until the last light of the day but it didn't eat in the figure 8. Thursday 8 am the mist started, followed by moderate rain 11 am thru the rest of the day. It continued to rain in varying degrees all the way until Friday at 8pm, so 36 hrs of continuous rain and the NW wind never backed down. The high temps dropped from 74 Wednesday to 54 Thursday/Friday. Water temp dropped 8 degrees. It was crazy. We fished in the rain at times, but we never saw another musky. The biggest fish we caught Wednesday - Friday was a 35" pike, a very nice fish but even the pike volume plummeted. We changed tactics and locations to no avital. We did do our 1 walleye run Tuesday afternoon and caught some 15"s for the pan. We also ate 3 pike. I still prefer pike to walleyes. All in all the week looked like the best week of musky fishing evah was upon us, then the weather flipped. A good time was still had by all.

Good to hear Timothy. I may not get to my usual fishing trip to the UP this year. I had a gut feeling that I was jinxing it when I bought new lures well ahead of time.

I hope all is well with you. You haven't been posting much lately though I've been throwing you some pitches right down the middle of the plate and now your annual trip is in doubt.
