OMG, Canada with all sorts of pressure on the PP and the U.S. comes down and Kristo beats Allen to make it 4-2 USA just as the penalty expired.

How did Hall miss those two chances? The 2nd one there wasn't even a goalie.

Canada doesn't look as crisp as in earlier games.
The US is really pressuring them, unlike other teams that let them setup and do their thing.
Keep the pressure on!!

Canada has 11k outdoor rinks? Compared to 250 US outdoor rinks?

How does the US only have 250 outdoor rinks? Grand Forks has like 25 of them alone. :)

OK, on NHL-N they were just showing population breakdown, number of players, number of rinks, etc...and it said 250 outdoor rinks in the US vs. 11,000 in Canada.

Seriously? 250? If we're calling a rink outside with no roof with boards an outdoor rink, there have to be a heckuva lot more than 250. Here in WI there are probably that many.

Yeah, I'd say that's pretty close. 35 outdoor rinks in GF/EGF.

Where's Dirty? Too good to talk with us?
