That was interesting to say the least. They will take intermission now, with 6ish minutes or so left in the first. They'll play that, and then switch sides and play the 20:00 of the second. It will definitely test the legs of these guys, but they should be alright given that they don't have to save anything for a game tomorrow, and haven't played a game in a week plus. We'll also see how the Amsoil Arena ice holds up.

Rowney scores with a couple of minutes left in the 2nd to give the Sioux a 2-0 lead.

Duluth had been putting a ton of pressure on before that though, so hopefully we can turn the momentum in our favor.

On a great individual effort Danny puts one in the net. Nice to see him put another in the nets.

Frattin!

Sioux were on a 3x0 break and Trupp gives it up to Frattin who knows how to put the puck in the net.

1:00 after their last goal, so 3 goals in 1:14.

Looks like the Sioux are ending 2010 in the right way and putting together a pretty good game.

Other than that spurt of about 2 minutes, we really were getting outplayed IMO, or at best playing it even. Dell has been strong, and our D has kept UMD from getting grade A chances.

On the other hand, we've hit about 3 or 4 posts, so this game could also be about 7-0 or 8-0.

We ARE wearing our black jersey's though...maybe we should just wear those all the time :p:D:D

Who are the two jack asses doing this game for UMD? Probably the worst team I have ever had the displeasure of hearing.
