UNO @ UND: Dave vs Dean, and another chance to step up a rung on the ladder.

Re: UNO @ UND: Dave vs Dean, and another chance to step up a rung on the ladder.

Wow were the refs terrible. Just silly terrible! Senkbeil gets run over from behind in the first and that's not checking from behind? But I guess it's ok because in the 3rd a UND player got away with interference. But of course the best part was when Massa tackled Rowney for no reason, UNO went on a break and Adam got in MacWilliam's way thus almost allowing UNO to get a great scoring chance. It's almost like there was a conspiracy against UND by the refs to allow UNO to stay in the game. Remember since UND won tonight it means I can comment on the refs and it's not whining! Also notice how I said the refs were bad both ways? That also means I'm not whining.

I'm a mav fan, but the refs definitely were terrible tonight. At one point a UNO player, I don't remember who, got called for elbowing on a shoulder to shoulder hit...what the? It was just bad all night, both sides for sure

Another close, hard-fought game, worthy of what is becoming an epic tradition. See you down the road.

Friday night from a UND biased view was brutal officiating, last night wasn't great for either side as well. Apparently the UM v Tech game was bad last night too and the UM v MSU game last Friday had awful officiating for both sides. Hopefully the B1G and NCHC don't bother hiring anyone from the WCHA referee list.

Even if, you're Dirty--you've earned your lifetime pass.

As far as the calls on hits goes, I kind of like that they generally let them make some big hits both nights. Many refs nowdays put the hand up anytime there is a big hit.

UNO fans really need to stop complaining about the refs from last night. Only UND fans are allowed to do that since the Sioux won. Just like only Mavericks fans were allowed to talk about the refs on Friday since the Mavs won.

Why didn't Faulkner dress last night? Why is Blais so insane?

Re: UNO @ UND: Dave vs Dean, and another chance to step up a rung on the ladder.

Faulkner had a really bad start to the year. Blais has made Faulkner sit the last couple weekends, hopefully he is whipping him back into form and making him watch from the bench. Expect to see Faulkner more after Christmas
