Upper level student tickets are $36.00 which isn't bad. Certainly tempting.

Here is an interesting question I saw elsewhere. If Omaha plays in Fargo, would the North Dakota fans cheer for or against Blais/The NCHC?

Honestly, it'd probably be pretty neutral knowing that they'd likely play UND in the championship(if both teams win). I'm cheering for an all-NCHC Frozen Four. But I would like the teams to prove that the NCHC conference is as tough as the pairwise suggests, so if UNO wins their 1st round I'm ok with it.

I really thought Blais would win the Coach of the Year over the guy who should win it with the talent he has every year.

My posting has been currently pretty limited to UNO's Regional thread.

That said, anybody know if Zombo is going to "give it a go" this weekend? He alluded to doing so in a World Herald article about 3 weeks ago as far as the post season is concerned but I have heard squat, since, and he did not play in the NCHC tourney. There are no clues about it on his Twittter page and nothing at Mavpuck I have seen about it nor from local media.

It seems obvious Massa is O.K. to go, though, based on a local interview I saw last night and things he is saying on his Twitter page.

Wow UNO wins. I think Harvard out played UNO for long stretches, but we took advantage when we needed to.

We did. But for the first goal where our goalie blacked out for some reason and lost sight of the puck and those two stupid boarding penalties, this might have been a different game. We also missed the net more than we have all season. We are usually pretty accurate with shots on goal and make goalies work. Massa was good tonight but we gave him some help too.

Best of luck against RIT tomorrow. That was a shocker. Minnesota State fans must still be numb.

I have seen 5 minute majors called in the Nacho for much less than either of those boarding calls.

UNO won the way they have all year. Score a couple and leave it to Massa

Massa was great in goal tonight and for the entire weekend, he should take you far!

Congratulations from Sioux land!

I really enjoyed MDU's first national title (cried like a baby) and hope both NCHC powerhouses make the final game this year. I'll be happy no matter the winner!

Mavericks deserved to be there; they've been hot all year!

That's funny bc that's what some UNO fans have been saying. Wonder if they are singing a different tune now?

UNO TO THE FROZEN FOUR BABY!!!! I was watching the game at a theater in Omaha with a few hundred of my fellow UNO fans. What an experience. Wish I could have been in South Bend for that celebration. Congrats RIT on a great run - taking down the overall #1 seed is impressive.

This is what UNO fans have been waiting for since 1997 and now we are two wins away from a national championship. First thing is first, Providence has looked awfully tough. If Massa plays like he did this weekend, I like our chances. A UNO/UND matchup would be unreal. The effect a Frozen Four will have on recruiting can't be understated. And moving into a new barn this fall....things are looking up for this program. Never thought we'd be playing in April.
