University of North Dakota Hockey: 2011-2012

Re: University of North Dakota Hockey: 2011-2012

Obama could find a way to turn a 2 billion surplus into a 1 trillion dollar hole.

That's kind of like how Goon's World could turn a story about Danny Kristi getting tanked and freezing his foot into a story about how the media is picking on him and it could happen to anyone...

Sue Suck! Ralph will turn in his grave when they knock out all those logo's in GF! Thank You NCAA for putting those Artic Cat Suzie fans in their place!

Is there anyway we could make Obama run for Govenor of NoDak?

This is the most random political post i have seen

Biddco is a Socialist! Obama sucks! Obama care will ruin this country.

Re: University of North Dakota Hockey: 2011-2012

The city of Minot, ND has obviously taken a big hit this summer with the floods, and it's going to cost quite a bit to get the city back on their feet. They have a chance to win Coca-Cola's Live Postively Park Restoration Contest for Americas Favorite Park. Right now they are #6 (however by the time you click on the link it could be even better!!)

The residents of Minot are voting to restore Oak Park. It was a beautiful, shaded, fun park. It also had the only Splash Pad in town for kids to go and cool off.

So PLEASE, help support Minot and GO VOTE! Voting runs until the beginning of September, so KEEP THEM COMING! You can vote as many times as you want, but even just one vote helps!

To vote go to: http://m.livepositively.com/park_details.jsp?parkId=11775
Hey guys, Oak Park won the contest! They will get $100,000 from Coke to help rebuild. Many thanks to all who sent some votes Minot's way. :)

Re: University of North Dakota Hockey: 2011-2012

The article references inferential metrics that indicate Federal AG surplus kickbacks for ND are leptokurtic with a very positive skew. And yet hypocritical neocons in ND continue to whine about a federalist agenda in Washington, while living out of big daddy's back pocket.

Harley should eschew sesquipedalian obfuscation.

I see Chris over at WCH blog has posted his preseason poll.

In my opinion, maybe a little too much love for UND. I like our returning strength on the blue line and in goal, but a couple of highly touted players (Kristo, Nelson) will have to put up big numbers, with some help from the freshmen, if we're to finish ahead of loaded DU and CC teams.

Swapping CC and UND would probably be closer.

Agreed. I think the Sioux will struggle putting the puck in the net in the first half of the year, and that could really put them in a hole to try and win the MacNaughton. Couple that with the fact that Kristo has tended to start slowly, and we're loaded with freshmen who usually take a half-season to get their feet under them, it could be a frustrating few months to start the season. As you said, our blue line and goaltending is top notch, and if a few people step up and put some pucks in the net, we could definitely be in contention. That being said, I'm very excited about this team, and feel that they could do something special in the second half of the season. I just don't think they'll do well enough in the first half of the season to win the league, but could very well bring home a third straight Broadmoor and perhaps that elusive eighth national title.

Just found out I'll be in Grand Forks for most of the month of October. Went looking for Ice Breaker tickets and the site mentioned it was either sold out or tickets weren't on sale yet? Does anyone know which one is the case?

Just thought I would drop by and let you guys know that Brad Malone, now with the Avalanche, looked fantastic tonight in the Burgundy/White game the Avs have very year. Malone scored a wonderful breakaway goal and is have an overall great camp. He's had a fight already in camp, and has been a consistent force already. I wouldn't be surprised if he starts the team on the Avs fourth line.
