Most of us Nodaks are incapable of confirming that, e, since when people say "Hawks" we hear "Sioux."

The team captains also brought out a Sioux banner for their picture with the hardware, see video at http://www.uscho.com/frozen-four/20...elebrates-national-title-on-amalie-arena-ice/. There is obviously still a strong affinity to the name at least with the older members of the team.

1959 - 4-3 over Michigan State
1963 - 6-5 over Denver
1980 - 5-2 over Northern Michigan
1982 - 5-2 over Wisconsin
1987 - 5-3 over Michigan State
1997 - 6-4 over Boston University
2000 - 4-2 over Boston College
2016 - 5-1 over Quinnipiac

But congratulations in advance to the NCHC on their 1st ever victory in a Frozen Four game. Of course it wasn't going to happen till two of them went up against each other head-to-head. I predict that whoever wins that game will be in over their heads vs. either BC or Quinnipiac in the national championship game.

Like the old saying goes, the only thing worse than a poor loser is a poor winner. Thanks for providing such a textbook example of what a poor winner looks like, it just goes to validate what I have been saying about NCHC fans.

Speedy, speedy. You are obviously a very insecure, needy guy, and when you keep making stupid comments like that, things are not going to go well for you. And we want you to be happy, we really do, so you might think about following a ball sport. Start with something low key, like tennis, and you can troll the stoners at UC Santa Cruz or someplace like that. You do that for a few years, and by the time you bet back on your feet maybe the B1G will be playing college level hockey and you won't have to work so hard to have fun here.

Check the bylaws from when you signed up on the board. It's all in there. And I quote from Rule 17.1a:

Upon the conclusion of the Division I Men's Hockey season, each fan of the National Championship winning team, if s/he so wishes, is hereby granted two weeks to implement any one (1) rule and/or standard s/he deem necessary with which all other fanbases must strictly adhere to the remainder of the two week period. Upon conclusion of the two week period, a vote shall be taken among all fanbases on whether these implemented rules/standards shall become permanent.

I am using my rule/standard to name you the smuggest person on the board. Don't like it? Take it up with the admin. I don't make up the rules, I just follow them.

Who cares if the BiG ever play college hockey again. I would rather see the whole conference disband the sport so it can rot in hell.

I was simply answering your question. Again, there is no need to get angry or snippy with me. I'm just following the rules set out by the board. If you would've jumped on the correct bandwagon, you could implement your own rule for two week too.

In anywhere but the alternate universe that is your mind, the big ten has zero--even a big ten graduate can count that. The WCHA has a million and one.

4four4: I think the B1G will be strong and entertaining before long. And I HOPE the UND/MN and UND/UW games continue to bring the intensity and fun they once did. Hopefully, the powers that be will schedule enough out of conference games to make that happen. For UND hockey fans at least, the gopher and badger weekends were the best.

Have you ever looked in the mirror? You are the one that keeps coming into NCHC threads to talk up how superior the big10 is... The big10 fans were by the way, the ones that were saying during conference realignment that they were going to take over D1 hockey. So if anyone knows anything about being obnoxious blowhards it would be you. You are the one who came in here to stir things up, not the other way around. But since you're here, I might as well excuse you so you can go back to the kiddie table where you belong. I remember thinking 2000 was such a long time ago... not anymore. Now 2003 seems like the stone-age. So, as long as there isn't anything more to say...

Don't you mean teams that play in the B1G have more national championships before that conference even existed? Has one of those B1G teams won anything since they decided they were too good to be in conferences with the likes of UND?

Yes, I'm an SCSU fan, but I was born in North Dakota. If SCSU can't win it I'm glad UND has won it.
