End of the second period-and as usual a tough period for us-outscored 2-1. Have to come out and get this one even early in the third. Go Red!!!

RPI TV is doing a great job with these games. I like the addition of a quick player interview between periods, and it looks like the graphics have improved too.

I thought for certain that was exactly what the ref was doing at first. If this was not a home game, perhaps that is what would have happened.

The only reason we got that is because Dell knew the puck wasn't covered. I know he's given us late period blows in the past, but it's going to be sad to see him go.

No doubt playing short handed for 12 minutes so far has hurt us-giving up 2 PP goals right now is the difference in this game. We have not looked all that bad tonight-but we still just do exactly what it takes to allow Union to play their style of game. The neutral ice turnovers, the lack of clearing our own zone, etc. Union is a solid team that makes less mistakes than most and we have to make some adaptaions to get even more pressure on their goal in the third period. Union will do what they do well-play with the lead and capitalize on mistakes.
