The penalties may be the only way that Union gets back into this game. it would seem the first ten minutes in the third period will be the make or break time. Keep them off the board for that time and they will have to take major chances which can be exploited.

Two periods in the books and we still lead 4-0. Not much offense in that period, but we did no really go into a prevent defense.
Need to keep it up for 20 more minutes.

They could move Meirs Moore up front (he played there the first couple of games) and go with 6 defensemen. Haven't heard Tommy Grant's name in a while.

It happens. I'm perfectly happy (thus far) to have zero points from my Union pick.

Four goals up, but it's still not over. Union has pumped in six on us twice fairly recently, and the last time was last game during the third period. Must play tough during the PK, then start to set the tone in the couple of minutes after that.

Since this is Grant's first game, SA most likely limiting his ice time until he gets some experience. Wise move as he needs to be brought in slowly. he will be a good one if only to keep the other team honest. he is a big boy but plays even bigger.

With the victory over Cornell, those are two VERY KEY points for the women. Could be the difference between being in and out of the playoffs.

Exactly. I have been rather critical of coaching decisions made but not with this one. 7D against Union, a physical team, is a very smart move. especially when one of the boys is new to the line up.
