Re: Union @ Rensselaer - 11/13/10

From what I read on the board and in personal emails, I considered awarding ehf a point for yesterday. I still may.

We do seem to get the short end of the stick from the refs more often than we should. We have to score enough and score early to put games away before they can affect the outcome. The Harvard game lost on a bogus penalty and the Union game lost on a waved off goal that no one could figure out why it was waved off. We have a change to even it up tonight-let's come out with speed and intent-Let's Go Red!!

Re: Union @ Rensselaer - 11/13/10

We are going to have to play the full 60 minutes tonight. Get a lead early and build on it so that there is no doubt in the last period. I feel like the referees have taken two games from us. We may not have won either, but we did not have a chance to try because of them.
I will be at the game tonight.

LETS GO RED!!!!!!!!!![/U]

After what happened last night, I expect the boys to come out with fire in their bellies and play the best, most physical, complete game they have played in a long time. If we can stay out of the box, RPI will win. U has yet to score an even strength goal against us. Go Red!!

Re: Union @ Rensselaer - 11/13/10

Does anyone know if there is still a parking lot with shuttle service and if so, where it is located? Thanks.

I know that the North Lot used to do shuttle service to games. Not sure if they still do. If you get off of route 7, go to 15th street to People's Avenue. Instead of taking a left to go to the Field House, take a right and go down the hill, it will be about a 1/4 of the way down on the left, immediately past the Alumni House.

They do still run the shuttle from North Lot, and they post signs from 15th St directing people to it. Should be easy for visitors to spot.

Does anyone have a good video feed for this game? If I remember correctly, last season, RPI students had an amazing feed for free. It would be much appreciated if someone could post that here. Thanks.

Gotta pay this year, sorry. There was apparently an exclusivity clause in the contract with B2 that we didn't know about last season. We ended up getting fined by B2 for streaming last year, so we're doing it by the books this year. http://www.b2livetv.com/partner_members.asp?id=27 is the link. It is a full 5 camera production with scoreboard, stats, instant replays and more. Full game will be posted later tonight and available for viewing at any time tomorrow.

On another note, the jerseys looks outlandish. Snapping a picture or two for ya'll, stay posted.

Sort of have a gothic feel to them. Red jersey with black highlights and black trim, white R on the front that looks like something from the Dracula movies.
