Rick Bennett has been given a one-year extension that takes him through the 2019-2020 season. He was extended through 2018-2019 last year.

On the road to Pittsburgh, no dog in this fight so I'm not sure who I will be pulling for. Somehow I don't think the participants are waiting with baited breath for my decision

Not sure who I'm rooting for, either, but wouldn't it be something if there was an all-ECAC final? :eek:

I had figured Bennett was heading to the USHL, since they are really the only junior league still playing, and I had noticed he was uncommitted. This kid has good numbers and takes up a lot of the net, though he doesn't look exactly quick or mobile. Should be a good backup for now and can develop beyond that. And will add some Greek flavor to the team!

Current Dutchmen Theo DiPauli was a teammate of Sakellaropoulos with the Steel during the 2011-2012 season.

Yes, great news on Ghost.. I kinda thought he would be back, would be crazy to go pro till he gets a little bigger.

And on the Pontarelli-watch front, Cornwall is now in the finals of the CCHL playoffs after Mr. P either scored or assisted on 5 of Cornwall's last 6 goals in the semis. This is one of his nicer efforts http://cjhlsite.stats.pointstreak.com/watch.html?leagueid=349&clipid=54662&autostart=1
 
Michael Vechionne finished the season very strong getting a goal and 2 assists in Tried City's last game of the season to finish the season with 60 pts. Good for top 15 in the league. That is very, very good in that league which is by far the top junior league in N America
