Posters on Union thread complaining that 'homer' referees 'gave' game to Cornell on questionable 5 minute major and embellishment calls. Sounds more like a little post game licking one's wounds.

The major was legit. That was intent to injure -- that f-cker should have been ejected.

But the embellishment call was bullsh-t.

That was essentially a 3-game sweep, with Hanson stealing one Friday. Really proud of Cornell for taking Bennett's pounding, not retaliating, and keeping their heads. Outstanding weekend for some guys who haven't appeared on the sheet much this year: Bauld and Betts. And of course Barron was head and shoulders the best player in the building all 3 nights. He's terrifying.

On to play Brown, with last year's SF against the Tigers at the forefront of everybody's mind. I'll see you all in Lake Placid.

Thanks for perspective on the penalties. I didn't see the game (live or stream) but I respect your opinion.
Would agree that Union sought to get Cornell out of their style by gooning it up this weekend. Cornell deserves credit for not retaliating. Re: Bennett's comment after game two: watch what you ask for, you just might get it...
