Looks to me like Cornell is 1-3 at Lake Placid since the ECAC Tournament returned to Lake Placid. Where did I miscalculate?
Good luck to Cornell going forward. They deserved to win despite our grumbling about the refs. They were the better team all year (4-1). What I believe will be a first is if 4 ECAC teams can make it to the NCAA's.
Of course. 1996 has exactly as much relevance as 2013 when predicting 2019, so why not? Of all the Cornell teams that have played at Lake Placid, '96 and '97 were surely the slowest and most dependent on a defense-first strategy - and those teams went 4-0.I assume he’s going back to the 1st iteration at LP in the 90’s

It’s definitely sad to see another Union hockey season end. Thank you to all the seniors for everything. I believe there is hope for the future as Hansen will hopefully develop into one of the top goalies in the country and our young defense gains another year of experience. The main question is on offense and who will step up and how the new freshman will fit into our system.
Considering Union still has a very small chance, a little surprising to see this...Season not officially over for Union. CHN found one scenario (actually 4) that gets Union into the tournament. Its unlikely but anything is possible. It doesn't matter what the Atlantic Hockey teams do by the way because if any of the 4 win then Union would still be in.

Nate Leaman back to the Frozen Four. UC never should have let him get away.
The season has finally ended for the ECAC and the last team out was Quinnipiac. Next year its hard to imagine us finishing in the top half of the league since we are losing so much. But then I think about the BobCats. They were picked to finish 8th in the ECAC and ended up tied for first and came very close to making the FF.
