UHM how much did your family help you out with college?

Why is Schenectady's population lowering?

Why do I care? I go to school there. I live around NYC. I have zero connection to the city of Schenectady.

That being said, the city has gotten A LOT better in the three years that I've been here and I think it will continue to get better starting with the new $100 million GE Plant that is opening here.

It has bars. It has restaurants. It has movies. Pretty much everything a college kid needs. The rest is on campus.

Would you be going there if you got no financial help?

It's pretty common for parents to help their children go to college. Are you faulting my parents for paying my tuition? I'm not really understanding your point. There's obviously no way I could pay for a $200,000 tuition as an 18 year old coming out of high school.

I bet I've dated hotter women than you.

The fact that I am paying every cent of my tuition because my parents can't help me out, makes me feel that I value my education more than a lot of kids who are getting it for free.

Earlier in the thread you mentioned all these wonderful pro's about small class sizes and such, you're also paying 4 times as much for the same degree.

So... if your family pays your tuition, it wouldn't be a thang to just up and show up in St, Clooud then.

Watching you post is like watching a slow motion train wreck.

I commend you for paying for your own tuition.

However, you are wrong to say that I do not value my education just because I am not paying for it. I thank my parents all the time for sending me to a school like Union. I am very grateful that they are able to pay for my education.

I'd like to go to a lot of places in this world and St. Cloud is not very high on that list. Vegas is, however, and I am going in December.
