I've got to say it... this is just plain DUMB! A goal now with an extra attacker will do nothing to build this team's confidence. A goal even strength would do something. What's the point???? :confused:

I have been asking that in several of the games in which we pulled the goalie when down by more than 2 goals. I just do not understand the rationale either.

On the plus side, I have to say that I am really enjoying the classical / symphonic music being played on WRPI right now.

:( Well, that was a bit of a mess. We looked fantastic for the first eight minutes or so, and then everything evaporated. Offense, defense, you name it. Pulling Merriam with over 8 minutes left was interesting. Then when we pulled him again for a solid 3-4 minutes, it almost seemed to say we'd given up. We did a good job of keeping pressure on Union with the extra attacker though, and there were some awfully close chances. I think we just wanted at least one more goal to get our goals per game average up to one.

Why does Appert still own that tan suit?!?
