Colin Stevens gets his first start of the season in goal, Cruice and DiPauli (Union debut) replace Ciampini and Roy up front. Charlie Vasaturo replaces Forgaard in the lineup on defense.

Nick Cruice picks up his first collegiate goal, 2-0 Union with a beautiful top shelf shot over Meisner. Assists go to Wilkins and Jooris.

Coburn picks up his first of the year off a faceoff, 3-0 Union!

Goal goes to Simpson, may of been him. Radio guys couldn't tell.

AIC will get a power play, high sticking on Stuart for Union with 1:05 left in the first.

Blow them out! But lets hope they don't forget the game is 60 minutes long.... can't take the foot off the gas pedal.

It is simply coming down to that Union is a sharp shooting team who knows how to score and how to get into position to score. AIC is more shooting in hopes of scoring. the game is otherwise even at most times.

I'm getting that vibe from this game, too. Whenever AIC gets into position to shoot, they shoot. They've almost caught Stevens off guard a few times, and are doing a good job of getting into scoring position.

Second period underway, AIC will have 55 seconds of power play. Faceoffs were 14-7 in favor of Union in the first period.

Jooris fires a wrister over Meisner from the circle, 5-0 Union. Gostisbehere will pick up an assist, goal scored at 1:39 of the second period.

Coatta scores with a wrister from inbetween the circles, 6-0 Union. Kerpan takes over from Meisner in net for the Yellow Jackets.

Assist went to Ikkala.

DiPauli gets called for tripping, AIC gets their second power play of the night.

the PK just has not looked good this year for AIC. This very much needs to be a learning experience.
