UNH Wildcats 2016 Offseason Thread - Searching for Direction

SOG certainly a misleading stat in this one but I have to give some credit to Argue. I think he made some good stops. I'm thinking of a one-timer Eiserman rifled at Argue off the faceoff. Admitedly right into Argue's chest I think but a good positional stop.

Agreed. I think that the logic behind Chuck's SOG hypothesis is that the team that gets a lead sits back and lets the other team take more shots. But, in the game on Saturday night, UNH got the first 12 SOG before Bentley got one, which fortunately for them turned out to be a goal.

I did not think that Argue was tested much on his 32 saves on Saturday night; he will face a lot better shots this coming weekend, methinks.
