Fact-checking and validating.... Now that's rich.

So you'd prefer I not ask/look around, and just take him (or you?) at his (your) word then?

Are you going to try to tell me/us Coach Umile is chasing recruits all over the continent then? I'm all ears.

P.S. - I do like SNHU taking over naming rights ... perhaps a D-1 program there isn't far away??

Loved that movie, one of my favs. Remind me, what happened to the warden who preached law and order but was just in it to line his pockets with money?

The conundrum your probably dealing with is analogous to your trying to get Fluffy the kitten down from that tree. He doesn't want to come down till you promise him he can have his own way .... all the time. Your only option is to get a chain saw and let the sawdust fall where it may .........

To be used on the tree obviously. Quick and easy .... a opposed to the current .... chip, chip, chip, chip, chip ......... chipping away. For years no less.

Sometimes I really just love the unique, quirky quality of this place. :)

You think a certain highly tenured head coach's ears have been ringing tonight?

In past years, I have commonly caught UNH games at Conte and Tsongas, but this weekend I will be "up north." However, I will catch my first game at Plymouth State, where the Panthers will be taking on UMass-Dartmouth. The Panthers are 15-3-1 on the season (sigh); I will assess their potential to join UNH and the other Dartmouth in our planned Granite State Maple Sap Tourney at the Verizon Center.

UNH hosting a regional in the SNHU Online Degree Diploma Mill Arena is just wrong.

:D

God forbid UNH went after the naming rights. One of their "campuses" is two blocks away from the arena.

Then we could have seen who the REAL "Kings of NH Hockey" were. :) But nooooooo ...

The reaction from the conservative press and citizenry if the U did this would be extremely negative.

I can see it now. UNH, NCAA logos, 4 team names (hopefully UNH) on the boards and SNHU logos plastered everywhere. Hopefully NCAA signage regulations keep it on the down low.

Good point; whether or not UNH hosts, no guarantee that we will be there. Might need to win a play-in game against SNHU, St A's, NEC, Franklin Pierce, or PSU. Ditto for the other Dartmouth; they might need to win a play-in game also.

I'm getting this whooshing sensation reading this (2nd time now) ... pray tell, kind sir, "other" Dartmouth?

UMass - Dartmouth playing PSU Panthers in Plymouth, NH, this Saturday night! :D

Gotcha - thanks! Guess I can claim to have sent one of my players to "Dartmouth" now. :D

Re: UNH Wildcats 2015-2016 (Part Two) - Managing Decreasing Expectations

Your past posts have indicated to me that you're not "gullible." Narcissism always triumphs over the greater good. I do not believe you will "live with that" in the future months.

Fixed your post Sonar. I don't know how many times I have had to fix my own posts with the same mistake! People often misuse "then" and "than" also!

Thanks for the "fix". (Now if I can just remember if the period comes before or after the quotation mark) :-)

Yeah, that is another one. Seems weird to put a period inside quotation marks at the end of a sentance.

Hope our Wildcats can manage to surprise us this weekend and get some points!

Re: UNH Wildcats 2015-2016 (Part Two) - Managing Decreasing Expectations

Nice to see the souped-up Maginot Line playing a part in Saturday's win ... but let's not forget, first and foremost, UNH won because they held PC scoreless for the last 50+ minutes of that game.

Vela's post-break emergence has definitely been a bright spot in a really dark 2016 so far.
