Because Agosta will have his bachelor's degree this spring, the NCAA allows these individuals the chance to transfer and play immediately if eligibility remains. The NCAA allows a one-time exception for graduate students that eliminates the sit-out year that accompanies most transfers. Theoretically, Agosta would have to enroll in a graduate program at Quinnipiac that UNH doesn't offer to play in 2014. An example of this can be seen in college football. Russell Wilson transferred from N.C. State and played immediately at Wisconsin by enrolling in a graduate program for his last year of eligibility. Basically, the NCAA wants to see that the student-athlete transferred in order to continue his or her academic career by pursuing a graduate degree not offered at the previous school for this to work.
