Re: UNH Wildcats 2013-14 Season Thread

Hate the new logo; liked the old just fine.

Hey, I'm sure they were inundated with complaints from UNH Manch students that the T-Hall logo didn't represent them.

Also, the navy UNH blue is clearly biased towards the Durham campus, which is why they went with a lighter blue for the new logo.

You would be wrong sonny!

You said UNH has BC Talent. Unfortunately, while I think UNH is solid, BC has more talent. Weekend score total 8-3 BC. Although you are one of the few that believes shots on goal actually means something...

How do you know if BC is more talented than anybody? This discussion came up last year after a UNH game and then BC got skunked by Minny and the discussion all of a sudden ended!

UNH talent up to par with BC imo. SOG not the issue. BC blocked a ton of shots last night on the PK and what did get through their goalie stopped. UNH will be there come March no doubt, when it is on the line.

Great win by the football team. Tough loss for Maine in their building. Jackie Cosgrove a class act though.

Did you just say UNHs talent is equal to BCs talent? That's absolutely ludicrous

BC absolutely has better top end talent than UNH with guys like Hayes, Gadreau, Matheson, Santini, etc, etc. UNH just doesn't compete for these types of players, and it will continue into the future with recruits such as Milano, Tuch, Hanafin, Colin White, etc, etc lined up for 2014 and beyond....

BC has won 3 of the last 6 National Titles, while MN has won none of the last 6 titles. Every team has its bad days, but BC year in an year out probably does have the best talent in college hockey, certainly top 2 or 3 at worst.

Good points. SOG for the weekend... UNH 70, BC 40
UNH talented, BC lucky.

Re: UNH Wildcats 2013-14 Season Thread

That guy is basing overall talent based on a singular regular season game? I don't think UNHs best overall player (van Riemsdyk) would crack BCs top 3

Re: UNH Wildcats 2013-14 Season Thread

You BC fanboys are a hoot. I'm sure BC is a solid group but they didn't look that much better than UNH to me. Maybe they played down to UNH's mediocre talent!

Re: UNH Wildcats 2013-14 Season Thread

Once you compare trophy cases it's pretty apparent who gets better talent. Another obvious indicator would be high NHL draft picks on each roster as NHL teams do tend to take the better players.

e.cat, I'm a UNH fan. BC didn't play down to UNH's level. They beat them solidly at home and beat them on the road. As I have said, UNH is a good team. Right now, they are not BC good.

Re: UNH Wildcats 2013-14 Season Thread

UHN, I mean HN,> BC :D Just look at those SOG totals. Actually when its all said and done the pollsters will have it right....UML is the best team in the league this year, no question. But don't discount the + effects of UHN changing their logo...:D

Re: UNH Wildcats 2013-14 Season Thread

I hope that the horrendous new logo is not matched by a complete change in uniforms, as well. The horrors of light blue!

How is your football team holding up after that blowout loss???
