Re: UNH Wildcats 2013-14 Season Thread (Part 2)

Chuck, Greg, Snively65, HockeyRef, just got 4 tix, lower bowl section 13, row10 through UNH. Don't know where we are all going to meet but we've got a couple of days to figure it out. I am good with UNH82's suggestion if we don't come up with another spot. Cheers:)

Re: UNH Wildcats 2013-14 Season Thread (Part 2)

By the way, did we REALLY have Benedetto and Hansen yesterday? 10 years ago, that combo at the Whitt would have raised my BP about 20 points before the game even started!!!
You had DAVE Hansen yesterday... usually not one to make blood boil. His brother Scott on the other hand... ;)

I'll be in Loge Sec. 9 with our usual large bunch of HE fans wearing various team colors. I'm up for meeting somewhere between games.

Same thing at Snively. What I loved was that when he came on the ice, he'd smile and wave back to the crowd to acknowledge their reaction.

Re: UNH Wildcats 2013-14 Season Thread (Part 2)

Speaking of putting faces to names is anyone interested in putting together a foursome for the Friends of UNH Hockey golf tournament? I've been wanting to do this the last couple of years. Let me know here and then we can share emails and phone numbers and such. All comers accepted especially scratch players;) JK, all are welcome to respond:)

Giles was more interested in being the center of attention than reffing the game. Same as Gravallese has been. But how about Bobby Barry? Or Billy Riley, who once grabbed his junk when I heckled him too much. Or Frank Kelly? I was a UNH-UVM game at the Gutt back in '78 when he had 8 or 10 guys in the box at the same time. Now all we get are cop wannabees, except for Benedetto of course, who is an actual member of the Everett PD.

You're in:) I forgot to put GOLF Tournament. But I guess you read my mind:D

We just need two more like you;)

I'll find out when the paperwork needs to be sent in and such. Then we can go from there.

My husband and I are new FOMH members and he plans on playing in the tournament I think...I used to play (my dad is a former PGA pro out of Jax, Florida as are/were many of his brothers!) We'll see...that should be a fun time!

Re: UNH Wildcats 2013-14 Season Thread (Part 2)

question...this is prob. an embarrassing q to ask but what does it mean when they say a player (like Goumas) went 3-1-5 for the weekend? Sorry it's prob. very basic please explain? Oh, and way to go Kevin Goumas for being named HE Warrior of the Week AGAIN :) (ok, Co-Warrior with Derek Army of PC). Also didn't realize what a GREAT weekend Nick Sorkin had as well...and, that line, oh that line of Goumas, Willows and Sorkin...keep doing what you do...soooo wellll! :D

Ps and as for Brett Pesce...keep on rockin' it.

Bring it 'Cats!!

3-1-4 ... means 3 goals 1 assist = 4 points .
