UNH Wildcats 2012-2013 Postseason Thread

Re: UNH Wildcats 2012-2013 Postseason Thread

Was shocked to get my season ticket renewal email today. At least it appears the pricing is being reduced a bit for most of the games.

Shows them as not on sale, will be available tomorrow morning starting at 10:00.

Sorry...I got the email and wanted to just let everyone know that you COULD get single-game tickets. They DID say it would the "day before the game."

Got super excited for a second thinking you had found a top-secret link or they had neglected to put a hold time on them. :D Only another 45 minutes now anyways.

Big crowds expected for NCAA hockey regional in Manchester:

Am I the only one that remembers one of these articles with Dot in 2011 where they said they were expecting a sellout on the strength of the Merrimack crowd? Attendance ended up being 7,608... That said, think they will do better this time as Lowell actually won at the Garden so people won't be jumping off the bandwagon yet. Only thing that will hurt is that puck drop for the Lowell game is at 4:30 on Friday and some may still be in work.

"Former UNH Captain Josh Ciocco Runs for Charity" including his analysis of UNH in the NCAA Tournament.

Enjoyed reading your interview with Josh Ciocco Mike. Very interesting on what he thinks it takes to win this thing. Let's hope UNH has the hockey gods on their side for once. Hope it doesn't come down to that!! May the best team win. Although, as he says, the best team does not always win:eek:

Just purchased some individual tickets for Friday night and does TicketBastard rake you over the coals - $10.90 fee per ticket AND $3.85 processing fee on your order. I could have bought another half of a ticket with what I paid for fees on my two tickets!

Wow. Sounds they were great guys as well as terrific players.

Thanks for reminding me of Tim Burke. You were always in good shape when he was on the ice.

Oh yes... street hockey!
Tim Burke (along with Jim Harvie and Barry Edgar) lived on my floor/wing at Stoke (5th floor, '73-'74.) What great dorm hall hockey games we played! (We called it "Kill Hockey", for the relentless violence with which it was played.) I also remember Tim Burke slapping a puck the length of the hall, right through the window. He didn't own up to it, so everybody on the wing had to pay for the replacement. Barry seemed to keep his game face on most of the time, while Jim was happy-go-lucky. Good times.
