UNH Wildcats 2010 off-season thread

Re: UNH Wildcats 2010 off-season thread

Like stealing jokes from Nick and Carmine?

(And honestly, I can't think of the last time I colored a sign. I have to be there because of my tickets; usually I just read if I'm the first one there.)

"If you are a UNH graduate and still color signs, you may be a redneck.."

Re: UNH Wildcats 2010 off-season thread

Slasher you are in rare form today. I think you should take a visit to PP and find our friends from 2005 with all this energy.

Re: UNH Wildcats 2010 off-season thread

judging by the content of signs you "colored", you arent allowed to tell us what is funny.

Re: UNH Wildcats 2010 off-season thread

If you steal jokes from other trolls and Jeff Foxworthy, and it's still not all that funny...well, that's just sad, really.

I eagerly await your next irrelevant "sign coloring" comment.

I put it in quotes because I WAS obviously paraphrasing a Foxworthy quote. By the way, you have been spelling "losers" wrong. For some reason, you keep spelling it "hosers". Grab a dictionary when you are picking up your sharpies, posterboards and "Whatchamacallit" bars the next time you swing by the Durham CVS...

Were you? Or "was" you?

Correcting spelling and grammar is the sign of someone who has nothing to say and lacks the ability to control themselves.

Slasher, try it sometime......you know.....waiting until you have something of substance to say. Then people won't hate you quite as much.

Re: UNH Wildcats 2010 off-season thread

Sorry CBG, but you have an uphill battle ahead of you if you are planning on arguing about what is funny with the authors of what might be the funniest blog since Al Gore invented the internets. Right now you're just digging yourself into a bigger hole with each post. Might be time to pump the brakes.

Don't worry bong-hit, you'll get some attention later.

Chant sheets? Come on. That's something UNH and UVM fans do.

Guess not

Probably because BC fans have better things to do that sit in the arena lobby 3 hours before gametime sitting indian style coloring signs...

Obviously because the majority of them don't show up until the 2nd period in their awesome Stupahfan T-shirts...

The only amusing thing I've seen/heard from BC fans was the 'nice PC signs before the UNH/BC game two seasons ago. That was flippin hilarious, and deserves kudos...

The only person who makes and/or colors signs is me. If you are going to make fun of people making super awesome signs that you are jealous of then make fun of me, not other UNH fans.

Steve and Nick wrote for "Fire Joe Morgan"?

Those signs are tremendous.

Re: UNH Wildcats 2010 off-season thread

I thought rabbits' long ears improved hearing. :p

GA tickets = first come, first serve. So. Where tCBG and 29 and many others sit are "hot commodities" in the arena... or have been; I haven't really paid a lot of attention to the competition lately, having moved over to STH sections... So tCBG et al get to the Whit early because they value the sight lines from their seats and don't want to run the risk of others getting to them first. Also, it's a good time for friends to chat before the game.

I used to sit near them, and I think I even beat them to the arena once. That floor is hard, but getting time to hang out with friends I don't get to see outside of hockey is well worth the time. Plus, my seats were PRIME. :D I went back to them once this past season, and some kids were actually upset that I'd gotten to the lobby doors before them!

So, while you may think that tCBG's penchant for early arrival is unique, know that you are wrong: there are more of us out there. :p

..like taking their boyfriends out to the local 7/11s along the green line for a diner before the game.

Thanks for the clarification. At least you are a student. If not, this would be uberlame.

Re: UNH Wildcats 2010 off-season thread

This would be a good idea, but I think it's a challenge logistically at UNH.

Actually, there has been some discussion about tailgates, after the Friends put one on for Maine last year.

My suggestion has been to have tailgates before Saturday games. Host it on Boulder Field until the snow flies, and then move it to either C-lot downtown, or B-lot on the back of campus.

This wouldn't interfere with the normal use of A-lot for parking, but would still allow people to be within a fairly short walk to the Whitt (especially if it were in C-lot).
